This is the fake message I got on myspace.com:

Subject: Hello!
Hi 🙂 Just so you know, this account doesn’t belong to me…I’m borrowing a friend’s. I’m not to smart about computers, so I haven’t set up my own account. But my friend has been so lucky on here I just had to try it out! Your profile really stood out, so I decided to say hi. If I seem like your kind of girl at all, maybe you could take a chance and email me at kristen_jules552 at yahoo. Another friend said she would show me how to email pics, so I can send some of those along, too…

So I sent the message:

I received a message from you on myspace.com, or so I think. Just checking to see if that’s not a mistake.

And I got the reply:

Doesn’t that sound odd? No details like “I’m in Portland” or “I like the Trailblazers” or anything. Googling for the username “natkat224” gave me one hit on the fark.com web site where, if you page down, you’ll see an EXACT copy of the email!

So, for those of you who said I should email her, thanks a boatload! 🙂

    She is hot, though.

    Anyway, I was bored (and still curious) so I wrote a response. I ended up putting the response on my profile at MySpace. I joined MySpace to meet new friends, and my response is actually a good description of who I am.

  7. thought it was funny that i received identical letters from 2 seperate “friends” on 2 different myspace accounts. the chick is hot but notice how the area code just happened to be blocked on the coldwell sign and who refers to their school as just cc or community college. dont sign up for anything associated with her.

The broken link to a community college project was the give away and when I search for the community college, this blog came up, so I want to thank all you guys and girls for posting this info. Google index ccotw it’s a damn shame though because that blonde is hot..I knew it was too good to be true, I’m a hot dude but damn, that girl is hot……And she’s basically begin to meet me…..Lol……..I’m going to keep on conversating to see if I can get the perv to reveals something……

    I too, questioned the broken community college and after a google, I found this. So sad we google people before trusting them. Thanks All.

    I’m in Columbus, Ohio and so was her friend’s myspace Profile.

    You would think since the scammer started this before October (6 months before) they would have evolved the message and made a new story besides the fake college HTML class. I wouldn’t have found this without it…

  15. Oh PS. Before I found this, her full name from her email was Kristen Artadi (n0w_n_f0rever02@yahoo) Strange users name, but at least it wasn’t Kirsten382227…

    In columbus, I checked the county auditor for a property search owned by Artadi, nothing. Nor did the voter registration show anything. Didn’t tell me much until I googled a few key works like ‘ccotw.edu’ – That scammer needs to change that.

    I did some homework on the ID check and seen the ‘sweetheartsconnection’ in the html.. I immediately became even more suspicious. The terms didn’t add up either.
    I googled a few things, including natkat224 and ended up here.

    This is a fairly elaborate scam given the number of accounts they use on myspace and the number of different hosts setup.

The letter I read here was verbatim from this natkat gurl. And I feel for it!! I mean who wouldn’t ?!? Her bumbling stories weren’t adding up so when I called her bluff on giving me a number to call her.. ….I was given some lame ass excuse..then I contacted the U.S. Visa department and told them my story. They never got back to me…but I have hell’ve pictures of this chick from over the three month period…which could’ve easily been some krackhead operation to lure naieve american men in for money. Yeah….I need to stay away from stray myspace friends…I have enough real ones. Do I look that guliable? None of my other buds ever get this shit…why me? I guess. I dunno.

    I’m going to try and contact my local police and have them nail this person. I didn’t sign up for Jack because she was only interested in me. They mess with me, they go down. Anybody know what other law enforcement agencies I can contact to put an end to this scam?

  44. I did some searching as well, I came up with a Kristen Meika Ellsworth in Michigan. My guess is the creator borrowed someones name. The site is a fake though as all the blogs I researched have the same text. One of the blogs had a link to the pics she claimed she took it exists. IT is http://www.efotohost.com/kristenspage/MyEFotoAlbum/ for anyone who cares. So it seems to be a very elaborate hoax. I also checked out the ccotw in google and nada. So apparently some one is just tryin to screw around with the people on myspace. After I found out the truth I blocked the email adress the user is sending mail out under.

  46. I got the email today, but it was from another girl on adultfriendfinder.com i suspect that they just go through names and see who bites, if they get 100 people every day thats a crap pile of money and credit card numbers. Its sad that it still happens.
    I emailed the bitch back and said lets go for coffee, no other information. I also emailed adult friendfinder with the complaint and information of the person that gave me the natkat124 email. They are using Natalie Geradri I was so pissed i already deleted the emails, sorry guys.

  49. It’s interesting to see how many people have received the exact same myspace message and email. This got around to a lot of people, including myself. This obviously leads the non-thinking part of men to the same old drive of gettin’ some, supporting the idea that there are people out there who make a living wasting so much time to waste a fraction of that time of other people’s lives. BTW, if you click on smith’s link up there above, be prepared for a bunch of naked kristen pics to pop up on a page…just in the case there are those young kids, counting those all the way up to high school or living at home, thinking they’re gonna get a nice sweet girl with a school report in her hand smiling back at you with braces and a cute seductive smile. You’re going to get ass and titties as of the moment, sorry to ruin the surprise…or just cause a bunch of dudes to ignore the rest of my message and start clicking on smith’s link.

    But for those of you who don’t or just want to see the type of personality that actually comes up with this stuff (if it is in fact the actual or another time-wasting ominous link to financial ruin!-don’t say I didn’t warn you about clicking all over the place) and then closes the damn link right away scared a bunch of skulls appear on your screen and laugh at another victim of dracula’s perverted sisters – you might want to confirm the email you got with mine and sleep well tonight. If you hardly get any of these and were a bit excited only to drop down this (yawn) pit fall, you are still smarter than the average bub and will someday learn the difference between too easy, just plain hard to get, and love is a pain in the ass but worth it.
