Every time I call my doctor with minor questions, and I do mean minor, the front desk just schedules an appointment for me. I go in and see my doctor who gives me a funny look like he’s wondering why I bothered to come in. In fact, there have been times where he asked me why I bothered to come in.
So now my nails are starting to crack. Actually, they all look like there was some singular event that caused them to act weird. Perhaps it was the hand-foot-and-mouth disease I had. In any case, here’s a picture. Anyone with any medical background (or experience something similar) think I should go see the doctor about this?
hello freakazoid, your nails are at least six weeks if not six months behind on physical symptoms. so if they’re cracking now, you should have gone to the doctor a while back, and most likely…YOU DID. probably means that six weeks ago you weren’t eating enough carrots or something. go have a salad and save the co-pay.
Enjoy your medical benefits and get this checked out while you get a flu shot or something.
I’m with Carolyn on this one. She’s right about the time frame.
Next time you are at the doctor tell him to tell his staff that you will not come in for questions. Just have him return your call!! I told my docs that I won’t put up with office bullshit and they all deal with me over the phone because they know that I will know when I need to go in.
Get a manicure and shut your pie hole!!
Try the internet for info, computer whiz. And DO ask you doctor when you go in again because fingernails are a real indicator of health issues. Sorry, no manicure
hm.. that’s a fungus. good luck.
